Kyei Mensah continues to champion diversity and challenge convention in Ghana’s thriving sacred music scene.

For over three decades, gospel music has been one of Ghana’s most influential genres. In recent years, the industry has experienced a continuous evolution in sound and artistry, while still holding firm to its core mission — spreading the message of Christ and the salvation He offers.

In a recent editorial by Ghana Music, several new-age gospel artists were spotlighted for their ability to embrace musical evolution while staying true to their divine mandate. Among them was Kyei Mensah, a gifted gospel artist whose unique sound blends R&B, soul, and highlife influences.

After recently releasing a collaborative two-pack project with Luigi Maclean and Niiella, Kyei is now gearing up for his annual “Sound & Faith Concert”. Scheduled for September 13 at the Tang Palace, this year’s edition promises an unforgettable night of intimate fellowship through music. Unlike previous editions, Kyei revealed that this year’s concert will feature a full solo ministration from him — a night dedicated to connecting deeply with his audience through worship.
