Cwesi began his ministry as a solo artist in 2003 with his album “Blessed Are They,” featuring hit songs like
“Okurayen” and “Look into Your Eyes”.
Breakthrough: His inspiring hit single “Mercy (But for Your Mercy)” released in 2010 earned him multiple nominations at the 2011 Africa Gospel Music Awards, Ghana Gospel Industry Awards, and 4syte Music Video Awards.
Awards and Recognition: As a multiple award winning artist for his creativity. He won the “Best New Artiste of the Year” award at the 2011 Ghana Gospel Industry Awards and “Best Gospel Video” at the 2011
-4syte Music Video Awards. In 2014 Cwesi Oteng was awarded African Gospel Music Artiste of the year by the African Gospel Music and Media Wards.
Mercy Project Album: The “Mercy Project” album, released in September 2012, includes singles like
“God Dey Bless Me (Speak Those Things),” which became an instant hit online and received heavy rotation on radio stations across Africa, the UK, and US.
Cwesi Oteng recorded his anthems series of music 2017 and has released several singles since including his latest EP titled the Anthems EP. He continues to serve the body of christ with passion and excellence.
